Key Qualifications:
Valid and unencumbered RN license Minimum one year of recent Interventional Radiology nursing experience BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong IV and procedural sedation skills Proven critical thinking and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and patient-education abilities
Core Responsibilities:
Provide expert nursing care during IR procedures, including pre-, intra-, and post-procedure phases Monitor patient condition and vital signs, responding rapidly to adverse events Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain strict adherence to safety, infection control protocols, and documentation standards Support patient and family education throughout the care continuum
