About Our Facility We are a well-established Skilled Nursing Facility in Florida committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to our residents. Our interdisciplinary team works together to ensure clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and a supportive environment for both residents and staff. Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Nurse (LPN or RN) to join our nursing team. The Floor Nurse is responsible for overseeing daily nursing operations on an assigned unit, providing direct patient care, supervising CNAs, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. This position plays a vital leadership role in maintaining quality resident care and promoting a positive, team-centered culture. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and physician orders Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely Perform resident assessments and document findings in electronic medical records Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) Monitor changes in residents' conditions and communicate with physicians and families as needed Ensure compliance with facility policies and guidelines from the Florida Board of Nursing Maintain infection control standards per Florida Department of Health regulations Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions Respond appropriately to emergencies and provide clinical leadership on the unit
Qualifications For LPN Applicants:
Active Florida Licensed Practical Nurse license in good standing
For RN Applicants:
Active Florida Registered Nurse license in good standing
Additional Requirements:
Current CPR/BLS certification Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred Strong clinical assessment skills Excellent communication and leadership abilities Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations Work Schedule 12-hour shifts available Full Time and Part Time 7a-7p and 7p-7a shifts Weekend and holiday rotation required
