St. Francis Hospice (SFH) is growing, and we need a Admissions Registered Nurse to join our team. SFH is a well-established, mission-driven healthcare organization dedicated to providing exceptional hospice and palliative care services throughout our community. The Admission Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for determining the eligibility and preparation of patient/family need and the initial written plan of care. Position serves as a resource for questions/issues from the health care community and SFH staff. Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Current and active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) License required. Hospice, home health, palliative care, or related experience preferred. Prior hospice experience required . Previous sales experience preferred. Ability to work flexible hours. Must understand the dynamics of human behavior and ability to communicate with patients and families in a crisis. Ability to communicate effectively with referral sources, and colleagues. Excellent oral and written communication, clinical and administrative skills. Able to prioritize varied projects.
