Job Description
About Us We are a patient-centered dialysis provider operating a 4-station dialysis den within a skilled nursing facility. Our patients are at the heart of everything we do, and we pride ourselves on treating every patient like a VIP. We are looking for an experienced, compassionate Certified Hemodialysis Technologist/Technician (CHT) who is passionate about providing exceptional care and creating a positive experience for our patients. Responsibilities Prepare dialysis machines and treatment stations before each treatment. Initiate, monitor, and discontinue hemodialysis treatments according to facility policies and physician orders. Obtain and document patient vital signs, weights, and treatment information. Monitor patients during treatment and promptly report any concerns to the RN. Assist with infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe treatment environment. Perform water testing and machine checks as required. Accurately document treatment data in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR). Build strong, caring relationships with patients and their families. Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to provide outstanding patient care. Qualifications Certified Dialysis Patient Care Technician Dialysis experience required. Current BLS/CPR certification. Experience with dialysis EMR systems. Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred. Strong communication and customer service skills.
