Desired Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted RN license Recent experience in a CVICU or a similar critical care unit Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications Strong knowledge of cardiovascular equipment and technology Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills Proficiency in patient and family communication Ability to collaborate within interdisciplinary teams Experience with electronic health records is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and assess patients with complex cardiac conditions in the CVICU Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders Utilize advanced monitoring equipment and respond promptly to changes in patient status Participate in developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and their families regarding treatment and progress Document interventions, assessments, and patient responses accurately Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other nursing professionals to optimize patient outcomes Uphold the highest standards of safety and infection control Why This Role?
