Functional Medicine Nurse & IV Therapy to join our innovative healthcare team. Responsibilities Assess patient health status through comprehensive evaluations, including vital signs, medical history, and physiological assessments. Administer IV infusions, including hydration therapy, vitamin drips, and other specialized treatments with precision and aseptic technique. Perform advanced procedures such as botulinum toxin treatments and other minimally invasive therapies under appropriate protocols. Educate patients about functional medicine approaches, lifestyle modifications, and treatment options to promote long-term health benefits. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans that incorporate holistic and evidence-based practices. Maintain accurate medical documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Monitor patient responses during treatments, manage acute pain or adverse reactions promptly, and adjust therapies as needed for safety and efficacy. Qualifications Valid RN license with current state registration; additional certifications in IV therapy or infusion nursing preferred. Proven experience in medical office settings with proficiency in EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to functional medicine and IV therapy. Experience administering injections, performing venipuncture, and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice. Familiarity with advanced clinical procedures such as laboratory specimen collection, and diagnostic evaluation. Background in diverse healthcare environments including hospital medicine, outpatient clinics, or integrative health settings is highly desirable. Excellent patient assessment skills combined with compassionate communication to support patient education and engagement. Must be comfortable and proficient with IV starts, patient assessments, injections, supplements/infusions and working in a concierge-style outpatient environment.
