Monitor neurological status, vital signs, intracranial pressure monitoring (as applicable), and respond promptly to changes in patient condition. Administer medications and therapies per physician orders; manage IV access and infusion therapies as directed. Document accurately in the electronic health record, ensuring timely and complete patient data and adherence to privacy regulations. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, educate patients and families, and support discharge planning and continuity of care. Uphold nursing practice standards in accordance with the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and core professional ethics.
