Chest Pain Center Coordinator (RN) - Cardio Services (Days)
Job Description
Responsible for the coordination, oversight, and continuous improvement of the Chest Pain Center program. Ensures compliance with ACC Chest Pain Center accreditation standards; monitors STEMI, NSTEMI, ACS, and chest-pain performance measures; conducts case reviews, data abstraction, coordinates multidisciplinary quality-improvement initiatives; manages required data and reporting; facilitates Chest Pain Center Committee activities; provides staff and provider education; maintains policies and clinical pathways; and collaborates with cardiology, emergency services, cardiac catheterization, EMS, Quality, and other stakeholders to improve cardiovascular patient outcomes.

Experience:
Five years of related experience. Requires broad knowledge of complex systems and procedures.
Licenses and Certifications
- GEORGIA REGISTERED NURSE OR MULTISTATE NURSING LICENSE
- BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (CPR)
- ACLS INSTRUCTOR - Preferred
Supervision - Performs no supervisory duties, but may instruct staff on care of cardiac patients.
Qualifications - Demonstrates the ability to effectively teach, Coach, and mentor others
- At least 5 years involved in the direct care of the ACS patients
- Working knowledge of problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology.
- Working knowledge of digital literacy skills.
- Ability to deal tactfully with customers and community.
- Ability to handle sensitive information ethically and responsibly.
- Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
- Ability to function in clinical setting with diverse cultural dynamics of clinical staff and patients.
- Good communication and public speaking skills
