Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Pediatric Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide expert nursing care to pediatric patients across various settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient units, and community-based programs. Duties Perform comprehensive physical examinations and assessments of pediatric patients, including vital signs, anatomy knowledge, and physiology evaluation. Administer medications via various routes such as injections, IV infusions, and catheter care while adhering to aseptic techniques and HIPAA regulations. Manage acute pain through appropriate interventions and coordinate with physicians for pain management strategies tailored to children's needs. Assist with specialized procedures including suturing, tube feeding management, venipuncture, and catheterization in accordance with best practices. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner for accurate medical documentation, lab result processing, and medical records management. Conduct patient education on health coaching topics such as medication administration, nutrition, developmental milestones, and discharge planning. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in emergency medicine, ICU (Intensive Care Unit), PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), neonatal ventilator management, and trauma medicine to deliver comprehensive pediatric care. Support families through complex situations including hospice & palliative medicine or working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Participate in infection control protocols and laboratory experience procedures including specimen collection/processing and diagnostic evaluation. Ensure patient safety by practicing airway management, sterile processing techniques, and emergency response procedures during urgent care or hospital medicine scenarios. Experience Proven pediatric nursing experience in hospital settings such as emergency rooms, ICU (including PICU), or medical-surgical units. Critical care experience with Level I or Level II trauma centers is highly desirable. Experience working with children in outpatient clinics, home care environments, or assisted living facilities is preferred. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner is essential for efficient documentation and patient tracking. Knowledge of

coding standards for accurate medical billing and record keeping. Background in working with individuals with disabilities or special needs including behavioral health or dementia/dementia care is advantageous. Ability to perform advanced nursing skills such as IV insertion, phlebotomy, ostomy care, gastrostomy tube management, and neonatal ventilator support. Strong understanding of infection control practices and acute care protocols within a hospital or urgent care setting.
