This contract opportunity calls for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) ready to assist a wheelchair-bound child who experiences seizures and requires focused care both during school hours and on daily transportation.

Key Qualifications:

Active Georgia RN or LPN license required Prior experience in school-based nursing or pediatric care strongly preferred Comfortable and experienced providing toileting assistance Ability to communicate effectively, adapting methods for non-verbal students Experience supporting children with seizure disorders is an asset Must be able to accompany the student on the school bus during transport Respectful of sensitive health situations and committed to privacy

Responsibilities:

Provide direct one-on-one care for a student with mobility and communication challenges Administer daily medical care, including monitoring for and responding to seizures Assist with toileting and personal hygiene needs in a compassionate, respectful manner Ride the bus with the student, ensuring safety and medical support throughout transit Collaborate closely with school staff, parents, and other healthcare professionals Maintain timely and accurate documentation of all nursing activities
