3x12-Hour Shifts Weekend Coverage Required No Block Scheduling Available No On-Call Requirement Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Progressive Care Registered Nurse (PCU RN) for a Neuro Stepdown assignment. This position involves caring for neurological patients requiring advanced monitoring and progressive care support in a fast-paced hospital environment. Candidates with strong Neuro Stepdown experience are highly preferred. Strong Med/Surg nurses with NIHSS certification, ACLS, and some stepdown experience may also be considered. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to neurological progressive care patients Monitor neurological status and recognize changes in patient condition Perform ongoing patient assessments and clinical documentation Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments according to physician orders Utilize

for accurate charting and patient documentation Collaborate with neurologists, physicians, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Respond appropriately to clinical deterioration and escalation needs Educate patients and families regarding neurological care and recovery Ensure compliance with hospital safety standards and infection prevention protocols Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) License required Minimum 2 years of recent specialty nursing experience required Neuro Stepdown experience required NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required at submission ACLS Certification required
