This is an excellent opportunity for an RN who enjoys pediatric private duty nursing and prefers the ability to focus on one patient at a time in a comfortable home environment. The client requires skilled nursing support related to Wolf-Hirschhorn Syndrome, chronic respiratory failure, tracheostomy, 24-hour ventilator dependence, obstructive sleep apnea, intractable epilepsy/seizure disorder, and G-tube/J-tube dependence . What You'll Do As the client's private duty nurse, you will provide skilled nursing care according to physician orders and the established Plan of Treatment.

Responsibilities include:

Tracheostomy and airway care Suctioning as needed Ventilator monitoring and management Respiratory assessments and treatments Oxygen monitoring Seizure monitoring and emergency intervention Administration of medications and prescribed rescue medications Airway management during seizure activity J-tube feedings and medication administration G-tube/Farrell bag management Bowel-regimen management Monitoring intake and output Obtaining and documenting vital signs Monitoring circulation and perfusion Stoma and skin care Positioning and personal-care assistance Therapy exercises as ordered Recognizing and promptly reporting changes in the client's condition Completing accurate and timely nursing documentation Communicating with the parent/guardian and Dunn-Harris clinical team Available Schedule We are seeking one or two RNs to assist with the following available 12-hour shifts :

Weekly Day Shifts Thursday:

7:00 AM

• 7:00

PM Friday:

7:00 AM

• 7:00 PM Weekend Coverage
• Two Shifts Per Month One Saturday or Sunday DAY shift: 7:00 AM
• 7:00 PM One Saturday or Sunday

OVERNIGHT

shift: 7:00 PM

• 7:00 AM Candidates do not have to accept every available shift .

We are open to hiring one RN for multiple shifts or dividing the schedule between two qualified nurses based on availability.

Qualifications Required:

Current, unrestricted Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license Current BLS/CPR certification Successful completion of required background screening and Dunn-Harris onboarding Strong clinical judgment and dependability Ability to work independently in a private-home setting Ability to recognize and appropriately respond to changes in a medically complex child's condition

Preferred Experience:
