Conduct patient assessments and provide clinical education on respiratory equipment. Complete home visits throughout the assigned service territory. Support patients transitioning home from the hospital. Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory equipment and prescribed therapies.

Support patients using:

Ventilators Noninvasive ventilation (NIV) Oxygen therapy Other advanced respiratory equipment Adjust ventilator settings based on patient needs, physician orders, and applicable clinical procedures. Monitor and troubleshoot respiratory equipment to promote safe and effective operation. Respond to malfunctioning ventilators during assigned on-call coverage. Assist with new ventilator setups when required. Provide ongoing telephone support and patient follow-up. Maintain accurate documentation of patient visits and services. Communicate patient needs and clinical findings to physicians, hospital personnel, and other members of the care team. Support training and orientation of clinical staff when needed. Compensation & Incentives $30-$35 per hour, depending on related experience. Bonus opportunities may be available. Eligible external candidates may receive a $4,000 sign-on bonus: $2,000 after 60 days of continuous employment $2,000 after 180 days of continuous employment Mileage reimbursement provided for approved business travel. Qualifications Active applicable Georgia clinical license required. RRT or RN credential required. Active South Carolina license required, or willingness and ability to obtain one. Minimum 3 years of recent Respiratory Therapy experience, preferably 5+ years Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Reliable personal vehicle required. (mileage reimbursement) Ability to travel throughout Garden City, Statesboro, Vidalia, and surrounding communities. Comfortable providing respiratory care in office, hospital discharge, and home-based environments. Comfortable supporting patients using ventilators and noninvasive ventilation. Ability to conduct independent field-based patient visits. Strong patient and caregiver education skills.

Pay:

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
