A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver on-site nursing care to a small caseload of students with critical, complex, or medically fragile health needs during regular school hours. Youll be working closely with educators, families, and healthcare partners, acting as a vital resource to ensure each students safety, health, and participation in the school day.

Key Qualifications:

Current, unrestricted RN license in Georgia Active CPR/BLS certification Prior experience in pediatric or school-based nursing preferred Skilled in supporting medically fragile and complex-care students Competency in G-tube feedings, trach care, and suctioning highly valued Knowledge of seizure/epilepsy management an asset Full-time commitment and on-site presence required

Core Responsibilities:

Provide direct health services to students, tailored to their medical needs Administer medications, monitor for health emergencies, and respond efficiently to urgent situations Perform student-specific care: G-tube feedings, trach care and suctioning, seizure/epilepsy oversight Serve as a liaison between families, school personnel, and healthcare providers to optimize individualized plans Maintain accurate health records and documentation in accordance with school and nursing standards Foster a nurturing, safe, and inclusive school environment for all students This is a contract position with regular school hours (MondayFriday, 8:10 AM4:10 PM) through the end of May 2027, allowing you stability, meaningful impact, and a rhythm that lines up with the academic year.
