This contract position offers a chance to support a student 1:1 onsite, working closely with a child who has a tracheostomy and requires a feeding tube. As part of a dedicated education team, youll play a vital role in ensuring the students safety and promoting their wellbeing throughout the school day.

Qualifications:

Current Georgia RN license required BLS and CPR certification Prior experience working with trach and G-tube care is highly preferred Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and caregivers Capacity to maintain detailed documentation and respond quickly to health needs

Key Responsibilities:

Provide continuous, individualized nursing care to one student during the school day Monitor the students health status and proactively address any issues Manage trach and feeding tube care, following physician orders and care plans Document interventions and observations in compliance with school and healthcare standards Collaborate with school staff, parents, and external healthcare providers to support the students academic and physical needs Educate teachers and support staff on emergency protocols when necessary
