As a Registered Nurse specializing in school-based care, youll play a vital role in promoting student wellness, managing daily health needs, and collaborating with educators and families to create a safe learning environment. Bring your expertise as a school-based RN and make an impact with responsibilities that include developing care plans, responding to student health concerns, overseeing medication administration, and educating students, staff, and families on important health topics. Youll also coordinate health services in compliance with state and federal regulations and adapt easily to the evolving needs of your assigned caseload.
Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse license, eligible through the
NCLEX-RN
process Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred Strong organizational skills and adaptability in managing a diverse caseload Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Commitment to providing compassionate, student-centered care Ability to work independently while supporting a larger team of school professionals
Key Responsibilities:
