Category Nursing - RN - Cath Lab Job Type Contract Step into a vital role supporting cardiac care by delivering high-quality nursing services in a dynamic catheterization laboratory setting. Your experience and clinical expertise will play a crucial part in positive patient outcomes during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
Key Qualifications:
Active, unrestricted RN license Demonstrated experience in a Cath Lab environment Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities Proficiency in administering medications, monitoring patients, and assisting with invasive cardiac procedures Familiarity with sterile techniques and infection control standards Effective communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare setting
Major Responsibilities:
Assist in preparation, monitoring, and recovery of patients undergoing cardiac catheterizations and related procedures Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot specialized Cath Lab equipment Document patient responses, procedural details, and interventions accurately Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and other nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care and safety Provide patient and family education related to procedure preparation, aftercare, and ongoing cardiac health management Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and participate actively in emergency interventions Adhere to protocols, regulatory requirements, and institutional policies
