Category Nursing - RN-ICU Job Type Contract Experienced ICU nurses are needed for a contract opportunity providing critical care to patients in a dynamic Intensive Care Unit environment. This role requires sound clinical judgment, strong teamwork skills, and a dedication to exceptional patient care.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license Proven experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications Strong assessment, communication, and documentation abilities Ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations Familiarity with electronic medical records and ICU monitoring equipment Commitment to collaborating with physicians, families, and healthcare team members
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients, monitoring conditions and responding to changes swiftly Administer medications, manage IV lines, perform wound care, and ensure accurate documentation Interpret and respond to clinical data, such as vital signs, laboratory results, and ECG monitoring Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans Educate patients and families regarding treatment, recovery processes, and post-discharge needs Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety procedures, and infection control protocols This contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to a respected healthcare facility's ICU team and make a difference in the care of complex patients.
