The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. They operate within organizational policies and demonstrate professional growth and accountability. The nurse is responsible for maintaining practice standards, coordinating patient care activities, and ensuring quality nursing care.
Responsibilities include:
Assessing patient needs and developing care plans Implementing nursing interventions Monitoring patient progress and outcomes Collaborating with healthcare team members Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Graduate of a nursing program; new graduates eligible Current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC multistate license BLS certification required Advanced certification in specialty preferred; bachelor's degree preferred Hospital experience preferred
