Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-ICU Job Type Contract Seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) settings to deliver expert care and clinical support. This position is essential for providing comprehensive nursing assessments and interventions for critically ill patients. As an ICU RN, you'll collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams and families, ensuring optimal outcomes for patients in a challenging, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:
Current and unrestricted RN license Minimum of 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience Strong knowledge of critical care protocols and advanced life support practices ACLS and BLS certification required Ability to quickly assess status changes and effectively prioritize care Excellent communication and teamwork skills Key responsibilities: Perform ongoing assessments, monitoring, and interventions for patients with acute and life-threatening conditions Administer medications, manage ventilators, and provide critical care support as directed by physicians Accurately chart patient progress and communicate updates to families and the care team Respond rapidly to emergencies and participate in code situations as needed Maintain strict compliance with infection prevention and patient safety protocols Mentor and support staff as a clinical resource when necessary Working in this essential role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference through compassionate, high-quality care for diverse patient populations.
