Registered Nurse Hydrate IV Bar - Chastain Park Sandy Springs, GA Job Details Part-time | PRN From $32 an hour 10 hours ago Qualifications Patient comfort Electronic health records (EHR) management RN License Sterile IV admixture procedures Bachelor of Science HIPAA Monitoring and managing IVs Bachelor of Science in Nursing Bachelor's degree in nursing Medical assisting Manual handling Full Job Description Position Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality IV therapy and wellness services within their scope of practice in a medical spa setting. This role includes administering IV therapies and injections, performing patient assessments, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring compliance with all clinical protocols and safety standards. The RN also supports daily spa operations by assisting with client flow and limited front desk responsibilities as needed to ensure a seamless client experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following: Clinical Responsibilities Perform day-to-day clinical services within scope of practice as offered by the medical spa Administer intravenous therapies, medications, subcutaneous and intramuscular injections Properly prepare and mix IV bags according to provider-approved dosages and protocols Perform vital signs and patient assessments prior to and during treatment Monitor patient condition and response to treatments, adjusting or escalating care as needed Identify medical conditions, allergies, or medications that may be contraindicated and consult with the Medical Director when appropriate Maintain strict patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations Educate clients on available medical and wellness services Refer clients to specialty services when appropriate based on medical history Maintain accurate and timely patient records using MINDBODY or other EMR systems Track and document medical inventory usage Maintain continuing professional development and required certifications Front Desk & Operational Support (As Needed) Assist with client check-in and check-out during high-volume periods Support appointment flow by coordinating with front desk staff and providers Answer basic client questions regarding services and treatments Ensure treatment rooms are properly prepared and stocked between clients Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Successful completion of the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) Active Registered Nurse license in good standing Minimum of 3 years of hands on IV Therapy experience Strong interpersonal, communication, and listening skills Excellent bedside manner with a calm, professional demeanor Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, client-focused environment Ability to remain calm and focused in urgent or emergency situations Highly self-motivated and results-driven Comfortable assisting physicians, nurse practitioners, or physician assistants within scope of practice Comfortable using computers, EMR systems, and basic office technology Willingness to pursue continued education to stay current with medical advances and protocols
