Sandy Springs, GA 30328 Step Into a Nursing Leadership Role We're seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as a Charge Nurse within a busy ambulatory surgery and interventional pain practice. This role is ideal for an RN who enjoys leading others, coordinating clinical operations, and remaining actively involved in direct patient care. As a key member of the clinical team, you'll help keep daily operations running smoothly while supporting exceptional patient care, safety, and quality. This individual serves as a resource to nurses and support staff while helping maintain efficient workflows and high clinical standards. Responsibilities Coordinate daily nursing assignments and clinical workflow. Provide leadership, direction, and clinical support to nursing and support staff. Help supervise support personnel and ensure adherence to established procedures. Perform patient assessments and monitor patients throughout their course of care. Recognize changes in patient status and communicate findings with providers and appropriate team members. Provide nursing care during pre-operative, procedural, and recovery phases. Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team. Support quality improvement, patient safety, and regulatory compliance efforts. Promote professional, ethical, and evidence-based nursing practices. Participate in staff meetings, education, and ongoing professional development. Assist with additional clinical responsibilities as needed. Qualifications Required Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN). Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license. Current BLS certification. Current ACLS certification. Preferred Previous experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and/or pain management setting. Experience working with Athena EHR . Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). CPAN certification.
