Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Korean OB-GYN clinic, providing comprehensive women's healthcare services in a dynamic and culturally sensitive environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, exceptional patient assessment skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality obstetric and gynecological care while supporting the health and well-being of diverse patient populations. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history review, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments specific to obstetrics and gynecology. Prescribe medications, including hormonal therapies and other treatments, in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements. Perform procedures such as Pap smears, ultrasound assessments, and basic gynecological interventions, ensuring adherence to sterile techniques and safety protocols. Manage prenatal care, including monitoring fetal development, providing patient education on pregnancy health, and coordinating necessary follow-up care. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems (ECW) for accurate documentation of patient encounters and treatment plans. Collaborate with healthcare professionals across specialties—including ultrasound technicians, laboratory staff, and primary care providers—to deliver integrated patient care. Educate patients on reproductive health, family planning options, menopause management, and preventive screenings aligned with clinical guidelines. Stay current with advancements in obstetrics and gynecology by engaging in clinical research opportunities and continuing education programs. Part-time (3-4 days per week) or Full-time (5 days per week) including Saturdays. Experience Proven experience working as a Nurse Practitioner in obstetrics and gynecology or related fields such as maternal-fetal medicine or reproductive health. Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems for documentation and patient management. Experience performing gynecological procedures including suturing, sonography, Pap smears, and basic surgical interventions. Knowledge of CPT coding for billing purposes along with familiarity with ICD-10 coding standards for accurate diagnosis documentation. Bilingual proficiency in Korean. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data security at all times.
