1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift assignment requiring at least 2 years of recent ICU experience and critical care skills such as ventilator and Swan-Ganz management. Details Work in the ICU of a hospital setting 13-week assignment with possibility of extension Night shift schedule, 4x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Every other weekend (EOW) required Possible floating to IMCU or CPU Holiday coverage required Uses Cerner/Soarian EMR Requirements Active GA or compact RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required Experience with ventilator management required Experience with ICP monitoring required Experience with telemetry and cardiac dysrhythmia interpretation/management required Experience with pulmonary artery (Swan-Ganz) line monitoring required Experience with intra-aortic balloon pumps required IV start skills required Cerner/Soarian EMR experience preferred Previous travel nursing experience preferred Royal blue scrubs required (not provided by facility) Proof of residence via driver's license and NURSYS required for radius verification Additional Information Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients, including management of ventilators, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic lines Minimal to no RTO accepted, especially around holidays Travel pairs are not accepted for this position Candidates residing within 30 miles of the facility will not be considered Candidates residing 31-50 miles from the facility will be considered at a reduced local rate First-time travelers may be considered with sufficient ICU experience
