Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in patient's private home. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to patient advocacy. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, providing wound care, and medication management. This position is per diem and is paid per assessment. Duties Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status, including vital signs and laboratory results. Perform nursing procedures such as suturing, airway management, and coding as required. Provide education to patients and families regarding treatment plans and medications. Document all patient interactions accurately in the electronic health record system. Monitor patients' progress and adjust care plans as necessary to meet evolving health needs. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulatory standards within the healthcare setting. Previous experience in home care setting is preferred. Proficiency in vital signs monitoring Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members. Wound care experience Proficiency in patient monitoring Strong communication skills Ability to develop and implement care plans Competency in vital signs assessment Home care and community care experience Catheterization and IV insertion skills Ability to assess and manage patient needs Familiarity with tube feeding and specimen collection Critical care and long-term care experience Basic life support certification
