Job Description

Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross, GA is seeking New Grad Registered Nurses to join our collaborative, patient-centered team. In this full-time role, you will provide safe, evidence-based nursing care across medical-surgical and specialty units, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. You'll work closely with physicians and the care team, educate patients and families, and document accurately in the EMR. Responsibilities Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately Monitor, document, and report patient status using EMR systems Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members on care plans Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions Follow infection prevention, safety, and quality standards Participate in orientation, preceptorship, and ongoing clinical education Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and emergencies Required Skills Patient assessment Care planning and coordination Medication administration Electronic Medical Record (EMR) documentation IV therapy and phlebotomy Vital signs monitoring Basic life support and emergency response Infection prevention and control Wound care and dressing changes Patient and family education
