Responsible to the Paul G. Stevens, MD, Outpatient Clinic Manager. Actively supports and participates in direct patient care, case management, care coordination, health care education, quality improvement, community networking, and clinic operations. Assists in the coordination and delivery of outpatient clinical services, including specialty treatment programs, infusion therapies, and chronic disease management.
Both inside and outside environmental conditions; noise and/or vibration; hazardous physical conditions; atmospheric conditions which affect the respiratory system of the skin.
IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A.
EDUCATION
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred.
B. CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE
Current Hawaii State license as a Registered Nurse. Current Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certification. If not certified upon hire, certification must be obtained within six (6) months of entrance into the position. Current BLS certification. Current ACLS certification. If not certified upon hire, certification must be obtained within six (6) months of entrance into the position.
C. EXPERIENCE
Two (2) years nursing experience. Case management, care coordination, ambulatory care, infusion therapy, or oncology experience preferred. Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English. Ability to keep clear and concise records. Experience in data collection and input.
