Job Description
Our Mobile Health Nurses perform in-home visits for clinical trial participants. The scheduling is PRN/casual/ occasional, without any weekly hours commitment. No clinical trials or home health experience is required as we train you up and pay you your hourly rate for 5 hours of training. Strong independent clinical skills, detail-orientedness, and a desire to help contribute to science will make you an excellent candidate for this position. Strong phlebotomy skills are required. This study involves seeing an adolescent participant in their home in Volcano, HI and conducting questionnaires and phlebotomy with in-home centrifugation. We will train you on the use of a centrifuge and will provide remote support during the visits. We pay for your time in the home as well as time traveling to/from the visit and mileage. Our first visit will take place on September 14 or 15 by 6AM so we are looking for a candidate with the ability to complete 5 hours of paid training within 2-3 days' time and who is available on either of those two dates. Future visits will be spread out/ sporadic. Once you are part of our workforce, we will offer you additional opportunities in this area if they arise. There is only one participant in this area, and hours are occasional and with no ongoing commitment besides the visits you agree to schedule with us, this is a great opportunity for a casual side gig. Frequent communication and responsiveness via text or WhatsApp and email is required for this position.
