Full-Time; 2 10-hour and 2 8-hour shifts, with typical start times between 7:00 AM-9:30 AM based on the surgery schedule, + Call 1 night/week and every 5th weekend Join Our Team as a PACU Nurse! As a member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will use your nursing expertise to provide high-quality care for patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical procedures, as well as Endoscopy and Cath Lab interventions. Working in a collaborative environment, you will play a key role in monitoring, stabilizing, and supporting patients through their recovery. Our PACU nurses are certified in BLS, ACLS, and PALS and are skilled in airway management, hemodynamic stabilization, and pain management. The department provides 24/7 coverage with a dedicated on-call team and two RNs available to respond to after-hours patient needs, ensuring safe and seamless patient care around the clock. Assess patient and family needs, develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, and provide appropriate education and referrals to ensure continuity of care. Deliver high-quality, holistic nursing care using the nursing process, clinical expertise, and critical thinking, while adhering to established policies, procedures, and standards. Maintain accurate and timely documentation to ensure a complete and legally sound record of patient care. Delegate and provide direction to other healthcare providers, holding team members accountable for their role in the plan of care. Education:
Diploma from an RN program. License(s)/Certification(s): Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state. Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state. Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
