Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop differential diagnoses, and formulate evidence-based treatment plans Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests including labs and imaging Perform appropriate procedures within scope of practice (e.g., suturing, splinting, minor procedures as applicable) Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to optimize patient outcomes Document all patient encounters accurately in the electronic health record and ensure regulatory compliance Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, discharge plans, and follow-up care Participate in quality improvement, clinical protocols, and initiatives that advance care delivery Contribute to a supportive, team-based culture aligned with Vituity's values of compassion, innovation, and clinical excellence Required Skills Advanced patient assessment and diagnosis Clinical decision-making and differential diagnosis Procedural skills (e.g., suturing, splinting, line placement depending on setting) Electronic health record (EHR) documentation Ordering and interpreting labs and imaging Care coordination and discharge planning Patient and family education Acute and chronic disease management Interdisciplinary team collaboration Evidence-based practice and clinical protocols
