As a Stepdown Registered Nurse, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team, providing specialized care to patients in a 25-bed unit with a focus on heavy neuro trauma, neurosurgery, craniectomy, and ortho cases. This role requires a compassionate and skilled professional who thrives in a challenging environment and is ready to float across multiple campuses to deliver top-notch care. Administer and manage drips including Heparin, PCA, and 3% Sodium Monitor patients using telemetry and specialty equipment such as chest tubes and airvo Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using

EPIC EMR

Provide education and support to patients and their families

Requirements:

Need 2 years experience in setting Active Iowa or compact/multistate RN license BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC) Experience with EKG/telemetry and strip reading Previous travel assignment experience required Ability to work every other or every 3rd weekend
