Category Nursing - RN-ICU Job Type Travel Embark on an enriching travel assignment in Le Claire, IA—a charming river town brimming with historic sites, waterfront strolls, and vibrant local culture. As you provide exceptional critical care in this destination, you'll enjoy the chance to experience new adventures during your off hours, from exploring scenic parks to discovering unique eateries and shops along the Mississippi River. This travel opportunity places you in a dynamic Intensive Care Unit, where every shift offers exposure to a diverse set of clinical practices and opportunities to refine your acute care skills. Working with a motivated interdisciplinary team and varied leadership styles will foster professional growth and expand your nursing repertoire—making for an impressive addition to your resume.
Schedule:
7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Every third weekend required
Qualifications:
Current RN license in good standing Minimum of one year recent ICU experience required BLS and ACLS certifications (current and valid) Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and communication skills Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity settings
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care for critically ill patients Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans Monitor and interpret vital signs, recognizing and responding to emergent situations Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the rest of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes Provide compassionate support and education to patients and their families
