Perform thorough resident assessments by monitoring vital signs, conducting physical examinations, and evaluating physiological responses to treatment. Administer medications and injections accurately while adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols. Manage complex medical procedures such as catheterizations, tube feedings, and wound care. Utilize electronic health records using Point Click Care to document resident information meticulously and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Respond swiftly to urgent situations including acute pain management, which may also involve Assisted Living setting. Support residents with memory care needs, or behavioral health conditions with compassionate attention and tailored interventions. Qualifications Valid RN license with current registration in the state of Iowa Proven experience working in long term care. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and laboratory procedures. Hands-on experience with Point Click Care. Demonstrated ability to perform medical procedures including venipuncture, phlebotomy, sterile processing techniques, and aseptic technique. Critical thinking skills with experience managing acute pain cases and providing palliative or hospice & palliative medicine support. Ability to work independently during overnight hours while maintaining excellent patient care standards and supervising CNAs.
