A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
Receive blood test results and other levels and work with Provider to follow dosing protocols Perform pellet therapy with patients as dosed by Provider Perform weight loss protocol as directed
• Perform migraine Tx per protocol Access Medical Director/network of Physicians and Nurses in New Leaf Wellness nationwide to communicate questions or other findings to help increase the specific knowledgebase Maintain current knowledge of applicable federal and state privacy laws Resolves patient problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies Promotes patient's independence by establishing patient care goals; teaching patient to understand what is going on with their condition Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; calling for assistance from health care support personnel Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards; measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards; making or recommending necessary adjustments within scope of practice; following medical office philosophies and standards of care set by state board of nursing, state nurse practice act, and other governing agency regulations Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
Currently licensed in the state of Iowa as an RN Excellent oral and written communication skills required Ability to set priorities Team Player Professional Detailed Charting Ability Extremely Dependable Highly organized and able to make sound decisions under all circumstances

$30.00 - $38.00 per hour
