Primary Nurse Primary Nursing :
Evaluate patients and assist the APP with patient care, procedures, and care coordination Collaborate and work closely with an interdisciplinary team of providers, navigators, pharmacists, patient financial advocates, and other disciplines in order to provide excellent patient care Provide education and emotional support to patients and families regarding cancer treatments and management Assist with patient assessments, including vital signs and lab results, to develop and implement care plans
Triage :
Utilize strong critical thinking and assessment skills to triage calls and evaluate patients of all ages undergoing treatment Promote a positive patient experience with compassion and kindness while integrating technical skills, scientific knowledge, and a caring attitude both in the clinic and through the triage process to aid those living with cancer and their families
