Registered Nurse (RN) Part Time

Job Description

Whispering Pines Assisted Living is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team! This position requires approximately 5-6 hours of nursing duties per week and provides an opportunity to support the health and well-being of our residents through quality nursing care and oversight. Duties include, but are not limited to: Assessing each resident upon admission and at least every 90 days while residing in the facility, as well as completing assessments for any changes in condition Delegating and supervising nursing functions performed by care staff Addressing changes in residents' physical or mental status and reviewing, implementing, and following new orders prescribed by healthcare providers Documenting residents' responses to medications and prescribed therapies Ensuring medication and treatment orders are current by verifying medication labels match physician or authorized provider orders Ensuring physician treatment orders are current and properly followed for therapeutic diets, treatments, and medications Maintaining accurate, written, signed, and dated medication and treatment documentation in each resident's care record Communicating with management and care teams regarding resident conditions, medications, non-skilled assistance (NSAs), and care plan recommendations Conducting initial assessments for residents who self-administer medications Requirements /
Qualifications:
Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the State of Idaho One year of nursing experience preferred Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and care staff
