Part-time (2 days/week) RN to work in our Ambulatory Surgery Center will be responsible for the delivery of direct patient care through the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases of surgery. Must be able to delegate and respond to assisting medical personnel by directing, supervising and coordinating daily out-patient surgery activities in the Ambulatory Surgery Center. The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the medical team. The RN will collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and the achievement of desired outcomes. RN will be leading a team of MA's, and physicians with the delivery of direct patient care. RN must be able to respond to the tasks directed by the DON and Physician present in the ASC. RN must be able to work in a fast paced environment. Idaho Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation PA is a growing practice with clinics in Boise and Meridian and an Ambulatory Surgery Center in Meridian. Must be RN licensed in the state of Idaho. Formulates and maintains a positive working relationship with patients, families, peers, and other medical personnel.

ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is performed in a busy outpatient surgery environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Requires frequent walking, standing, bending, pushing and pulling and moving equipment. Occasionally may require heavy lifting of up to 100 pounds with assistance and 50 pounds without.
