Job Description

Seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Certified School Nurse (CSN) for a contract opportunity supporting students in a school-based setting near Addison, IL. This is a full-time role, offering the chance to make a meaningful difference in student health, safety, and daily well-being.
Key Qualifications:
Current Illinois RN license or Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential required Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and sensitivity Skilled in assessing student health needs, providing care, and administering medications Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, faculty, and school staff
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to students, including chronic condition management and acute health interventions Develop and maintain individualized health plans for students with medical needs Administer medications in accordance with physician orders and school policies Respond promptly to medical emergencies and coordinate care as needed Serve as a health resource for students, staff, and families, promoting wellness initiatives and health education Maintain accurate health documentation and record-keeping in compliance with state and district guidelines
