Job Description

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Located near Bartlett, IL, this role plays a crucial part in a therapeutic day school environment, supporting students who require additional assistance not available in their public schools.

Key Qualifications:

Must hold Certified School Nurse (CSN) certification Current Professional Educator License (PEL) required Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in a school or clinical setting preferred Ability to foster trust and rapport with students facing behavioral challenges Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset

Responsibilities:

Provide skilled nursing care to students with unique behavioral and medical needs Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and school administration to implement individualized care plans Monitor student health status and intervene as necessary to support optimal learning environments Educate students and staff on relevant health topics and protocols Maintain detailed and accurate health records in compliance with state and district requirements The structure of this role is ideal for professionals seeking a part-time commitment, with onsite hours totaling 3 per week.
