Seeking an experienced registered nurse with specialized skills in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) nursing for a contract opportunity. This position offers the chance to provide exceptional care to critically ill cardiac patients in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications:

Current and unrestricted RN license Minimum of 2 years of experience in CVICU or similar specialty critical care setting Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Proven ability to manage complex cardiovascular cases and use advanced hemodynamic monitoring Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Responsibilities:

Delivering direct patient care to adults with serious cardiac and vascular conditions Monitoring, interpreting, and responding to changes in patients cardiovascular status Administering medications, including vasoactive infusions, following physician orders Preparing patients for surgical procedures or interventions as required Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate and optimize patient care delivery Maintaining accurate documentation in electronic medical records Educating patients and their families regarding treatment plans and post-discharge care
