Schedule/Hours 36 hours per week Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients on the medical-surgical unit. Administer medications and monitor patients' conditions, ensuring rapid, effective interventions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for coordinated patient care. Accurately document all assessments, treatments, and patient responses using the facility's electronic health record. Educate patients and their families on health conditions, post-discharge care, and medication management. Participate in unit improvement initiatives and support a positive working environment. Desired Experience & Qualifications Active RN license in Illinois (or compact state eligibility). Minimum of one year of recent Med Surg experience preferred. BLS certification (required); ACLS preferred. Excellent critical thinking, time management, and communication skills.
