Meditech Responsibilities:

Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on individual needs and clinical conditions. Monitor patient status and promptly recognize changes in condition or response to treatment. Communicate patient status, symptoms, and diagnostic test results to Emergency Department physicians and healthcare team members. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and improve outcomes. Adjust nursing interventions and care plans as needed to ensure safe, effective treatment. Deliver care that addresses psychosocial, physical, emotional, and general patient needs. Provide education, support, and clear communication to patients and families. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. Demonstrate professional accountability, initiative, and sound clinical decision-making in emergency situations. Promote patient safety, quality care, and efficient department operations.

Requirements:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification. Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency care environment.

Preferred:

ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification. TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification. TNS (Trauma Nurse Specialist) certification. Previous Emergency Department nursing experience. Pay (Traveler): Weekly Amount = $2398 Weekly Taxable Amount = $1152 Weekly Non-Taxable Amount = $1246 Overtime Rate = $82.61/hr Pay (Local): Hourly Amount = $62 Weekly Amount = $2232 Overtime Rate = $93/hr

Pay:

$2,232.00 - $2,398.00 per week
