Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide expert nursing care to pediatric patients across various settings, including outpatient clinics, hospitals, and community health programs. Your energy and enthusiasm will help create a positive environment for children and their families, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about pediatric health, with a strong commitment to improving patient outcomes through comprehensive nursing practices. Duties Deliver specialized nursing care to pediatric patients, including assessments, vital signs monitoring, and physical examinations. Administer medications and injections accurately, including IV infusions and immunizations, following strict aseptic techniques. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) system to document patient information thoroughly and efficiently. Provide education and support to children and their families regarding treatment plans, medication administration, nutrition, and discharge instructions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in emergency room settings, ICU units, or outpatient clinics to ensure comprehensive patient care. Qualifications Valid RN license with pediatric nursing experience preferred; Demonstrated experience working with children across various healthcare settings including hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or outpatient clinics. Proficiency in EMR/EHR system charting. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, infection control practices, and medical terminology relevant to pediatrics. Excellent communication skills for triage assessments and patient education. $34.00 - $40.00 per hour
