This contract opportunity seeks a compassionate nurse for a 1:1 role with a male student who relies on a wheelchair, has sleep apnea, uses a vibrating vest requiring suctioning every two hours (no trach), and receives continuous oxygen. The assignment includes bus riding to and from school, and you can enjoy a setting without behavioral management challenges.

Key Qualifications:

Current RN or LPN/LVN licensure in Illinois Experience working with pediatric or school-age populations preferred Skilled in airway management and suctioning Comfortable managing students with complex health needs Current CPR certification Ability to work full-time hours, with start/end times to be confirmed

Core Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 monitoring and clinical care throughout the school day, including bus transit Administer suctioning every two hours and deliver continuous oxygen therapy per protocols Collaborate with student support teams, teachers, and family for seamless care Maintain accurate documentation of interventions and health status Respond promptly to any medical needs or emergencies
