Pay Range:
$34.00

  • PLUS $25K Sign-on Bonus A patient-focused healthcare organization is hiring a (RN's) Registered Nurse(s) for permanent (not travel), full-time opportunities.
These role(s) offer the opportunity to provide compassionate, high-quality care to a diverse medical and post-surgical patient population in a collaborative environment with lower nurse-to-patient ratios and strong leadership support. Position Overview
  • Permanent, full-time role(s)
  • Schedules posted 6 weeks in advance with consideration for traveler preferences
  • Nihon Kohden telemetry system (RNs interpret their own strips)
Shift Details:
  • 12-hour night shifts (7P
  • 7A)
  • Weekend rotation: Every other or every third weekend
  • Holiday requirements: None mandatory (volunteers appreciated)
  • Call requirements: None (volunteer opportunities available)
Unit Features:
    Support Staff:
    1 CNA available for assistance
      Team Structure:
      Clinical care coordinator, charge nurse with patient assignments, and weekend house supervisor support
        Equipment:
        High-flow oxygen and Vapotherm available; BiPAP and higher respiratory needs transferred to ICU
        • Floating opportunities available for safety sitter and supportive coverage roles
        • High patient turnover with frequent admissions and discharges throughout the day
        Key Responsibilities:
        • Provide compassionate care for patients with conditions such as COPD, pneumonia, cellulitis, and congestive heart failure (CHF)
        • Care for post-surgical patients including colon resections and orthopedic procedures (total hips and knees)
        • Monitor cardiac rhythms using telemetry and interpret rhythm strips
        • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
        • Assist with outpatient infusions as needed (experience preferred)
        • Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation
        Orientation & Training:
        Comprehensive first-week orientation includes:
        • HR onboarding
        • Infection control training
        • Equipment training
        • Hands-on experience with a preceptor
        Requirements:
        • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
        • 2-5 years of nursing experience preferred, ideally in an acute or rural hospital setting
        • BLS Certification (Required)
        • PALS Certification (Required)
        • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
        • Telemetry monitoring experience preferred
        Dress Code:
        • Pewter scrub tops
        • Black pants and shoes
        • Colored tops permitted if layered with a pewter outer garment
