Job Description

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The PACU Staff Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse who is responsible for the total nursing care of the patients during the immediate post-operative phase.
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional/Educational Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license with biennial renewal and required CEUs. Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Advanced Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of hire. At least one year clinical experience in Med/Surg Nursing. Preferred experience in Critical Care, Operating Room Nursing PACU, or Emergency Room. Basic computer skills. DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required. Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
