$2,088 Job Description We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in Murphysboro, Illinois. The RN will provide safe and compassionate care to adult patients in a medical-surgical setting while collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients. Perform comprehensive assessments and monitor changes in patient condition. Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately. Develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Monitor vital signs, laboratory results, and diagnostic findings. Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to coordinate patient care. Educate patients and families regarding treatment and discharge planning. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and facility policies. Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns as needed. Requirements Current RN License. Current BLS certification required. 2 years of RN Medical-Surgical experience required. Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work 12-hour night shifts.
