Shift:

7:00 PM - 7:00

AM Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).
• Local & travel allowed.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.
• No current placement allowed at

Program:

Medefis Program - Southern Illinois Healthcare. Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details:

Unit Details:

Blended Med-Surg unit with a swing bed program and occasional PCU-level patients. Assignments are balanced based on nursing workload and patient acuity; supervisors adjust assignments for nurses with Med-Surg-only backgrounds.

Ratios:

1:5 Med-Surg, 1:5-6 swing bed, 1:3-4 PCU depending on whether the patient is on a drip.

Shift & Scheduling:

Every other holiday and every other weekend. No on-call. 14 days maximum time off 1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months Proof of identification required
