9683292-60564 Job Description Step into a rewarding part-time opportunity as an RN supporting a young student in need of dedicated care throughout the full school year. This contract position is located close to Naperville, IL, and offers a schedule of two days per weekspecifically Tuesdays and Fridays. You will provide 1:1 nursing care for a 5-year-old male Kindergarten student in a general education resource classroom. The student will also have a 1:1 Para. As this is his first experience attending school and his diagnosis status is currently unclear, adaptability and compassion are essential.

Key Qualifications:

Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois Prior experience as a School RN or in a pediatric setting highly preferred Ability to deliver individualized care and remain flexible amid evolving caseload requirements Skilled communicator with students, staff, and family members Willingness to work collaboratively with educators and paraprofessional support

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 nursing support and care to the assigned kindergarten student Closely monitor the students health status throughout the school day Support the para and classroom staff regarding any medical needs or protocols Maintain thorough and accurate documentation on interventions and observations Adapt to changes in the students care plan or mobility needs as further details emerge
