Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse - Telemetry to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a telemetry unit, monitoring their vital signs and responding to any changes in their condition. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and deliver exceptional care to individuals with various medical needs. Responsibilities Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, identifying any abnormalities or changes in patient conditions. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history evaluations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and care procedures. Assist with triage for urgent care situations, prioritizing patient needs effectively. Manage pain management strategies for patients experiencing discomfort or distress. Perform tube feeding procedures as necessary for patients requiring nutritional support. Document all nursing interventions accurately in electronic health records (EHR). Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols. Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Strong knowledge of physiology and medical imaging techniques. Experience in telemetry nursing or critical care preferred. Familiarity with durable medical equipment (DME) used in patient care settings. Ability to provide care for children, including experience with toddler care as needed. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
